Emily Tsingou has an established reputation as a leading contemporary fine art dealer.

She received an MA in Art History from the Courtauld Institute of Art, London. She also holds an MA in Art Criticism awarded by the City University, London. In the early 90s Emily spent several years working as an independent curator and art advisor including a period as Flash Art chief correspondent for Greece, and contributor to Index, Artforum, as well as publication advisor to Art Magazine.

In 1998 she inaugurated Emily Tsingou Gallery (1998-2008) which became established as one of the key contemporary art galleries in London. Her international programme included the first solo exhibitions in London for numerous artists including Karen Kilimnik, Gregory Crewdson and Jim Shaw. The programme also produced some highly original thematic and tendency orientated group shows.

In 2008 Emily Tsingou became the founding director of Emily Tsingou Fine Art. Emily is a patron of Tate Gallery, Serpentine Gallery, South London Gallery, and Whitechapel Art Gallery.
